Dungeness Old Lighthouse - RTH

by Chris Page

Once dominant on the Dungeness landscape, the Old Lighthouse now stands against the imposing presence of the nuclear power station built behind it.

Lighthouses have stood at Dungeness since the early 17th century, each responding to a changing coastline. Today, the Old Lighthouse has been replaced by a modern automated light, leaving it as a reminder of an earlier landscape.
