Beachy Head Lighthouse - RTH
by Chris Page
The journey began at 3am. By first light, I had descended the South Downs and spent more than an hour picking my way across rocks and boulders beneath the chalk cliffs towards the distant blinking light of Beachy Head Lighthouse.
Reaching my position as dawn appeared on the horizon, I set the camera and waited. For the next hour, long exposures captured the changing relationship between sea, cloud and light, with only the wind, waves and occasional barking of seals breaking the silence.
By 7.30am, morning had arrived and the moment was over.
