Arctic Wolf - RTH

Photographed by Mike Rossi - Visual Editing by Chris Page

It began with glints of colour within the bark of Tasmanian Blue Gum. Looking closer, Mike discovered an unexpected world of colour, texture and imagined creatures hidden within its surface.

Photographed in close-up, the bark becomes something else entirely. The surface seemed to be almost fur-like, with pale natural markings suggesting something else is emerging from the wood.
